At Play Farm we grow ideas, creativity and delicious food!
Leisurely breakfasts on the back patio, afternoon tea in the shade garden and comforting soup on rainy nights.... Sharing and preparing the bounty of the land is one of our greatest joys.
Drawing upon the knowledge collected over a lifetime of farming, herbal medicine, and home gardening, we incorporate the principles of permaculture, ancient growing practices, and biodynamic farming into our growing practice. Our methods keep the health of the soil, land, and inhabiting creatures in mind at all time- no chemical pesticides, no chemical fertilizers.
In the gardens we have: savory herbs, green leafy vegetables, fruit trees, citrus, berries, roses, flowers, alliums, squash, root vegetables and much more.
Play Farm Productions is an independent film production company based at Play Farm. Focusing on experimental, documentary and the occasional fiction film, our topics and range of interests are global and diverse. We are committed to producing balanced, thought provoking media with strong visual aesthetics and a unique perspective.
Check the news for schedule of our latest film nights. We have an archive of 8mm and 16mm films, scavenged and self-produced, and also host "open mic" nights where guests can bring their own found/created films to be projected.
Ever changing. Hard to define. Come explore, research, create.
Collected objects, knowledge, memories.
